Vaulx-en-Velin, December 2nd, 2025 – Vitaprotech accelerates its transformation into a unified global leader in premium electronic security. Following the acquisition of Hirsch in 2024 and the consolidation of its operations in Europe, the French Group announces four major strategic decisions that will take effect on 1 January 2026:

1. Vitaprotech Becomes Hirsch Group

The Group adopts the globally recognized Hirsch name, instantly conveying premium positioning, federal-grade trust, and worldwide ambition. Eric Thord remains CEO, with Steven Humphreys as Deputy CEO, driving a clear vision: global strategy, local execution, delivering innovative, interoperable security solutions precisely tailored to each market.

2. France: Hirsch Secure Merges with Vauban Systems

Two complementary business lines are created:

• Integration: Led by the current Hirsch Secure France team, delivering perimeter detection, access control, PSIM, and VMS.
• Distribution: Operated by Vauban by Hirsch, focused on access control and AI video solutions for the installer network.

Vauban by Hirsch will leverage Hirsch Secure’s R&D, support, and shared services to accelerate innovation and customer satisfaction.

3. United Kingdom: Hirsch Secure Merges with TDSi

The change builds on TDSi’s 40-year heritage in the access control market, combining it with Hirsch’s unified platform to offer the UK’s most complete perimeter-to-core security solution. Going forward as part of Hirsch Secure, TDSi’s trusted access control portfolio will be available under the TDSi by Hirsch brand, delivering continuity for long-standing customers while strengthening the unified product range. The integrated organisation will be led by Managing Director Richard Huison (appointed July 2025).

4. United States: Hirsch Secure Merges with Protech

Protech’s renowned perimeter detection expertise now complements Hirsch’s historic strength in high-assurance access control and identity solutions, creating an unmatched portfolio for America’s most sensitive sites.

Hirsch Group is now structured around three strategic pillars:

• Hirsch Secure: Global system integration (France, US, UK, Germany, India, Canada)
• ARD: French manufacturer of access control and payment solutions for end customers & electricians
